Impulse membership Terms & Conditions:

These Terms and Conditions are binding on all Members of impulse club (the "Club") operated by The Pulse. The Impulse Membership Programme involves earning impulse coins (“Coins“) and using Coins to redeem various rewards (“Rewards“).

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions“) are binding on all members of the Programme (“Members“), and Members agree and accept the Terms and Conditions set forth and any amendments to be made by The Pulse from time to time.

  1. Customers may register for the Programme with a Hong Kong, Mainland China or Macau mobile number. Customers will then be requested to fill out a registration form. All information submitted on the registration form must be authentic, correct, complete and not misleading.

  2. Each mobile number can only be registered by one member. Any duplicate registration of mobile number or application of a member will not be accepted. Mobile number submitted for registration must be authentic and valid; otherwise, the pulses have all the right to suspend or terminate such membership and forfeit all Coins of the member without any prior notice.

  3. Members will not be issued a physical membership card and the digital wallet or website link will serve as a virtual membership card, containing details such as current Coins balance.

  4. To enjoy privilege offered by participating tenants, Members must present Impulse card before payment. Participating tenants reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions without prior notice. The Pulse is not responsible for any losses caused by disputes between Members and participating tenants.

  5. Members must present Impulse card and within 7 days of machine-printed sales receipt by electronic payment (Credit Card/Union Pay/EPS/Octopus Card), together with corresponding electronic payment receipt to redeem Coins. Receipts that are not redeemed within 7 days after purchase will be regarded as invalid. Hand written receipts, photocopied receipts, reprinted receipts, split of receipts, The Pulse car park receipts, Octopus value-added receipts, bill payment receipts, service fee receipts, purchase and/or add value of tenant membership card or membership payment, purchase of cash/gift/meal/cake coupon from tenants' receipts, counterfoils of credit card or EPS payment slips are not accepted.

  6. With every spending of HK$1 at The Pulse designated shops (except purchases at any bazaars, pop-ups, temporary kiosk and consignment shops) by designated of electronic payment (credit card / debit card / EPS / Alipay / Apple Pay / WeChat Pay / Google Pay / BOC Pay), Members of impulse are eligible to earn 1 coin. Members may register their spending and earn Coins in person: Members visit The Pulse concierge in person and present their digital membership card and the original Transaction Receipt(s) along with the relevant credit card(s) and payment device(s) used for the transaction(s); The designated electronic payment amount of the Transaction Receipt must be greater than HK$200 and less than HK$100,000 (maximum 3 electronic Transaction Receipts in same shop can be redeemed daily).

  7. Members may register a maximum of HK$100,000 spending per day. For the avoidance of doubt, where Members′ eligible receipt(s) exceed the maximum of HK$100,000 spending per day, the excess amount cannot be registered as Coins. The Pulse reserves the right in its sole discretion to adjust the maximum spending per day at any time.

  8. Members may not use multiple receipts to meet the minimum HK$200 spending requirement. Coins registration shall be conducted separately for each receipt.

  9. The Pulse will stamp on all the Transaction Receipts submitted for registration of Coins for identification purpose. The Pulse has the right to keep copies of the Transaction Receipts by any means including but not limited to photocopying and photo-taking for verification purpose.

  10. A valid sales receipt must be machine-printed and contains the name of tenant, receipt number, transaction number, transaction date and amount of transaction. In case of any dispute related to validity of receipt, The Pulse staff reserves the right to make final decision.

  11. Rewards will be updated without prior notice. All rewards are offered on a first-come-first-served basis, and shall be available while stock lasts

  12. Coins are valid until the end of the next calendar year from the accumulated date. All overdue Coins will be expired and will not be accepted for any redemption.

  13. Members is not allowed to redeem Coins with sales receipt owned by other person.

  14. Members should inspect the gift (if any) before redemption procedure is completed. All gifts are not returnable or exchangeable. The Pulse is not responsible for the quality and function of gift.

  15. Upon confirmation of gift / reward / service redemption by The Pulse, the relevant Coins will be deducted from Members account automatically without further notice.

  16. All product warranties or enquiries on the gift / reward / service redeemed shall be referred to the original suppliers or manufacturers directly. Any dispute concerning the gift / reward / services (quality, functionality, safety, durability, suitability or otherwise) shall be settled between Members and the suppliers or manufacturers. The Pulse is not liable for any product warranty or safety issues nor for the quality or suitability of the same and will bear no responsibility for resolving such disputes on behalf of the members with the suppliers or manufacturers concerned.

  17. Images and description of the gift / reward / service available for redemption are for reference only and may not be exactly the same as the actual gift / reward / service. Members shall not make any complaint or make any claim against The Pulse and/or the supplier of such gift / reward / service in the event where any difference is found.

  18. Members are responsible for checking the latest information from The Pulse regularly before redeeming gifts / reward / service or taking part in members’ activities by using valid Coins.

  19. Impulse card and Coins are non-transferable.

  20. Any valid receipt can be used for redemption of Coins for one single time only.

  21. Information of the new card will be retrieved from the record in Impulse card Member database.

  22. The Pulse reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of this promotion at any time without prior notice. In case of dispute, The Pulse reserves the right of final decision on all matters.

  23. Membership card is not a payment card nor is it proof of credit worthiness and attempts to use it as such could constitute fraud.

  24. All applications for membership shall be subject to the approval of The Pulse, which it may or may not approve at its absolute discretion and without giving any reason therefore.

  25. The Pulse may communicate occasional offers or event invitation to members via SMS, email, phone or other contact methods, members should provide the valid email address and phone number to prevent missing of important messages.

  26. The Pulse is not responsible for all unsuccessful delivered messages via email, SMS, phone or other feasible communication methods.

  27. Renewal Terms and Conditions are at the discretion of The Pulse.

  28. Members can cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation should be made in writing and sent to : info@thepulse.com.hk

  29. The Pulse shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever to the Members for any act, omission or default howsoever caused or arisen which results or may result directly or indirectly in any loss, damage or injury whatsoever, to the Members or any other person.

  30. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects according to the Laws of Hong Kong.
